The Council House, Coventry is a tudor-style (Grade II-listed) council house which acts as the meeting place of Coventry City Council, built in the early 20th century to replace St Mary's Guildhall as the headquarters of the mayor and city corporation. == History ==
The Council House was constructed 1913–1917, under Edward Garrett and H W Simister of Birmingham. It was opened on 11 June 1920 by King George VI (then Duke of York).
